Mission Child

I remember the day
When they took you away
You had tears in your eyes
You were so sad
Please come home

Are you trying to find your family?
Do you know who you are?
Did they say don’t worry?
Forget about the past

(Chorus)
Mission child, Mission child
Where are you now?
Are you lost and lonely?
Don’t you know where you belong?
Why don’t you come?
Mission child

You lived without a culture,
Never given a chance,
It’s not an easy road,
But find a way back home

Face the fears that suppress you,
Life is not easy, but be strong,
So take matters into your hands,
And come home
