Shane Howard - The Producer

In 1982, Shane Howard's massive anthem Solid Rock (recorded with his legendary band Goanna) reverberated across the airwaves and still does today. It was one of the first songs of its idiom to broach the subject of land rights in this country and impacted powerfully on a whole new generation of indigenous writers and musicians that followed. Shane is regarded by many Indigenous and non-indigenous people as a key commentator on the issues of native title and social justice.

In the years since Goanna, Shane Howard has written, produced and released five solo albums. He has been actively involved in producing and developing both emerging and established artists across Australia and overseas. His production credits to date include:
