The Douglas Shire Reconciliation Network is open to all people who want to share in the spirit of reconciliation. We have a practical structure of core groups in the areas of Employment and Economic Independence, Education and Communication, Youth Health and Recreation. These core groups are working on strategies to address disadvantage and promote the idea of coming together. We can achieve amazing things together.

To build bridges of understanding and friendship between Indigenous and Non - Indigenous people in our community.

To work together to achieve unity, and improve the future for all people.
